One of Clarity Counseling’s core activities is conducting clinical research in real-life settings. Our primary research focus has been on the development and evaluation of family-based treatments for clinical problems including substance abuse, trauma-related stress reactions, and other mood disorders.

Our current research interests lie in the following areas:

  • Co-occurring substance abuse and child maltreatment
  • Gender specific treatment
  • Multi-disciplinary collaboration dynamics
